Veluchamy Enterprises Employed as a senior member of a 10 person network and systems administration team providing the technical support to 11 direct marketing companies with combined revenues of 300 million and employing over 1500 people. Duties include design and implementations of all computer related services. Sewer Equipment Company of America Responsible for designing and implementing all computer operations for a mid-size manufacturing company. Completely revamped all current IT systems while greatly improving and expanding network capabilities and services. Upgrades included a new M2M ERP software implementation, new Windows 2000 servers & workstations, a long-distance 5 mile wireless microwave WAN, Cisco Internet T1 & point-to-point T1, Linux hardware firewall /gateway, Symantec corporate antivirus deployment, and Veritas NAS backup solution. Cost savings exceeded $100K by building and maintaining systems in-house, annual savings exceed $25K. Sauk Valley Computers Provided consulting services including installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of Intel based computer systems to the surrounding area of northwest Illinois. Clients ranged from individuals to large corporations. Work performed included installation and configuration of networks, Internet services, hardware, and software. Partnered with local phone companies and Internet service providers to provide end-user customer support. CGH Medical Center Contracted to update and insure hospital computer systems Y2K compliant. Researched and implemented the necessary hardware and software updates for the correct 2000 year functioning of a large network with numerous offsite locations. Systems updated included network, servers, workstations, and specialized medical equipment. Documented all work in a custom designed database to insure accuracy and complete coverage. Achieved 100% functioning after millennium changeover. Essex Computers Worked as head computer technician and supervisor of technician staff for the largest computer & Internet service provider of northwest Illinois. Responsible for daily operations and supervision of technical staff; promoted to management within one year of hire. Ryan’s Amoco Manager of an independently owned full service automotive service and repair facility.
